£80 (inc VAT) for four sessions | Special Introductory Offer

This four week course guides you through the first steps of creating either a circle skirt or Pencil Skirt. Starting from the basics of measuring, right through to creating a garment specific to you. Throughout the course you will learn how to draft a pattern, create a toile, fit your garment to your specifications and finally make your own skirt.

Lesson one:  Measuring and drafting your pattern. It will be your choice whether you wish to make a pencil skirt or circle skirt, I will be teaching both side by side.

Lesson two: Cutting and sewing your toile (a mock up of the final garment)

Lesson three: Fitting and altering your pattern for the perfect fit and cutting your final fabric.

Lesson four: Sewing and fitting your final garment.

You will need to provide your own materials, including 2.5m of calico, a rell of white cotton and 2.5m of your own choice of fabric for the end result.

By the end of this course you will have completed a skirt and will have the skills to make more! This course is perfectly suited to those who want to experiment with making their own clothes for the first time or those who want a refresher on old skills.
